Königsburg, Medieval castle ruins near Bohnert, Kosel, Germany.

The structure consists of inner and outer fortifications, with the inner section forming a 50-meter square and the outer section creating a pentagon.

Danish King Erik of Pomerania constructed this fortress in 1415 on a peninsula along the Schlei's southern bank to monitor maritime traffic.

The site connects to local folklore about a farmer's boy who reported seeing a golden cradle within the castle grounds.

The castle grounds contain remaining wall structures and a villa built in the early 1900s, though the area restricts public access.

Stones from the abandoned fortress were later used to repair the church in nearby Rieseby, demonstrating medieval resource repurposing.
