Old Hof station

Old Hof station is a heritage-protected railway building from the mid-19th century with a symmetrical facade and classical design elements. The structure shows typical features of early railway architecture with multiple tracks and well-proportioned interior spaces.

The station opened in 1848 as designed by Friedrich Bürklein and served as a junction between two railway administrations. Growing traffic led to construction of a larger facility in 1880 that eventually replaced the original building.

The location sits at about 500 meters elevation in the city of Hof and is easily accessible. Visitors can view the preserved structure from the outside and observe the historical railway architecture.
