Calauer Schweiz

Calauer Schweiz is a nature reserve in the Luckaitztal valley that spreads across rolling hills, forests, and meadows with a varied terrain. The Kesselberg peak stands as the highest point, defining the landscape and offering views across the protected area.

The area was officially protected in 1996 to preserve its natural habitats and landscape character. This designation began systematic efforts to maintain the ecological conditions that make this valley distinctive.
