Mary's Visitation, Gothic Revival parish church in Zittau, Germany
Mariä Heimsuchung is a Gothic Revival parish church in Zittau featuring a 72-meter bell tower with a pointed spire and two half-height towers framing the main entrance. The interior can hold around 360 people and contains original stained glass and religious artwork throughout the space.
Built between 1883 and 1890 by architect Hermann Knothe-Seeck, the church served the growing Catholic population arriving from Silesia and Bohemia. This construction marked an important expansion of Catholic community presence in the area during the late 1800s.
