Pellerschloss, Water castle in Fischbach, Germany
The Pellerschloss rises with a sandstone ground floor, two overhanging half-timbered upper stories, and a distinctive wooden choir structure in southern Nuremberg.
Constructed in the 14th century as a defensive structure, the castle suffered destruction in 1552 and underwent reconstruction after 1557 with modifications to its architecture.
The castle houses cultural events organized by the Pellerschloss Cultural Circle, including concerts and literary readings throughout the calendar year.
The venue offers a 60-square-meter hall on the ground floor and a fully equipped kitchen with space for 50 people on the first floor.
The castle features the only wooden choir structure made entirely of half-timbering in the Nuremberg region, distinguishing it from other local castles.
