The Villa Grün spans over twenty rooms across multiple floors, featuring exhibits about industrial development and regional economic progress throughout different time periods.
Built between 1914 and 1915 in neoclassical style for mine owner Carl Grün, the building transformed into an economic history museum in 1983.
The museum presents detailed recreations of kitchen settings from medieval times to the modern era, illustrating the evolution of domestic life in the region.
Located at Schloßberg 3, the museum opens Tuesday through Sunday from April to November, with sessions from 10:00 to 13:00 and 14:00 to 17:00.
The basement houses an extensive mining exhibition with multimedia displays, documenting the regional mining heritage of the Dill area.
