The Protestant Church in Elend features a neo-Gothic design with wooden frame construction, covering an area of five by eleven meters.
The church construction, completed in 1897, received additions in 1904 through a donation from local-born businessman George Schlägel, including a tower and apse.
The church contains hand-carved wooden altarpieces from the Ore Mountains region, along with stained glass windows depicting the four evangelists installed in 1908.
The church underwent complete restoration work between 1990 and 1994, with additional renovations taking place in 2022 to maintain its structure.
The manual bell system from 1901 and a movable altar complement the church organ, which contains 400 pipes with the longest measuring 2.60 meters.
