St. Johannes der Täufer

St. Johannes der Täufer is a church in Zautendorf with a chancel built from sandstone blocks, a gable roof, and galleries lining the nave. The chancel features a distinctive tower that appears square at the base and tapers toward the top, making it visible from the surrounding area.

The upper tower section housing the clock and bell chamber was built in 1591 and established the church's distinctive outline. The interior underwent baroque modifications in the 18th century that shaped its present appearance.
