The Copenhagen Admiral Hotel occupies a restored 18th-century waterfront warehouse with massive wooden beams and exposed brick walls facing the Inner Harbour.
The building originated in 1781 as two separate warehouses for the Østersøisk-Guineiske Handelskompagni trading company before merging into one structure in 1885.
The hotel maintains its connection to Danish maritime heritage through architectural elements while housing modern accommodations and the SALT restaurant.
The property contains 366 rooms across six floors, offering views of either the Opera House or Amalienborg Palace, with check-in starting at 2 PM.
The structure retains its original 200-year-old Pomeranian pine joists and received European Union recognition for its conversion from warehouse to hotel.
