Marmormolen

Marmormolen is a waterfront structure in the Nordhavn district that extends into Copenhagen harbor with contemporary design and sustainable materials. It contains office spaces, parking facilities, and a multipurpose venue for events and gatherings.

The waterfront structure was built in the 1890s as part of Copenhagen's free port and operated until the late 1980s. The area then underwent transformation into a modern neighborhood as the harbor changed its function.

The name refers to a marble business that once operated in Copenhagen's free port area. Today the waterfront preserves memories of this industrial past while serving as a modern gathering place for residents and visitors.

The area is easily accessible on foot with modern facilities and views of the harbor and city. Visitors can enjoy dining, shopping, and waterside walks along the promenade.

A planned elevated bridge will connect this location to Langelinie Pier and create a new perspective on the harbor. This link will better integrate the entire Nordhavn waterfront.
