Brændesgårdshaven

Brændesgårdshaven is a family amusement park in Bornholm with diverse sections for rides, carousels, climbing structures, and water activities. The property also includes a small zoo housing domestic animals and species such as lemurs and kangaroos.

The park was founded in 1933 when a farm was transformed into recreational grounds, making it one of Denmark's pioneering leisure destinations. The Ibsen family has stewarded the site since its establishment.

The park reflects traditional Danish leisure culture through hand-powered carousels and outdoor shows that showcase how families have enjoyed recreation together for generations.

The park offers free parking and WiFi for guests. The best visiting period runs from May through September, with extended operating hours during July and August when attractions are fully available.

The water section features solar-heated pools and slides, an unusual sustainable approach for a park established in the 1930s. This thoughtful design reflects how the site has adapted to modern times while keeping its family character.
