Vorbasse Krigshavn

Vorbasse Kriegshavn is a village pond at the town center that holds a model warship called Labri and is bordered by grass and trees. A wooden bridge crosses the water, while benches and pathways allow visitors to move through the space comfortably.

The pond featured a conning tower from a Russian submarine from 1988 until 2003, creating a distinctive Cold War landmark. The tower was later relocated to the entrance of a nearby camping site, marking a shift in what the place displayed.

The pond serves as a gathering place where residents launch a model warship called Labri each Easter, keeping a local maritime custom alive. This seasonal ritual reflects how the community maintains a connection to naval traditions in an inland setting.
