The Islamic Cultural Center in Copenhagen

The Islamic Cultural Center occupies a white former factory building with a spacious courtyard, located at the intersection of four Copenhagen neighborhoods.

Established around 1970, this center acquired its buildings in 1976, marking its position as the first recognized mosque in Copenhagen and throughout Scandinavia.

The mosque welcomes Muslims from North Africa, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and the Middle East, with services conducted in both Arabic and English.

The center features prayer halls, washing facilities for ablutions, and separate spaces for men and women, with street parking available nearby.

The Islamic Cultural Center maintains its original architectural structure of a converted factory while integrating traditional Islamic prayer spaces.
