TAP1

TAP1 is a multipurpose events center on Amager with expansive halls and raw industrial features. The interior retains original elements including railway tracks embedded in the concrete floor, giving the space its characteristic aesthetic.

The building began as a distillery and served that industrial purpose for many years before its transformation. A major renovation between 2016 and 2017 converted the structure into the events venue it is today.

The venue serves as an active events space hosting regular theater productions, art exhibitions, and conferences throughout the year. Visitors experience a mix of cultural offerings that shape the rhythm of activity in this industrial setting.

The venue sits about five minutes on foot from Copenhagen Town Hall and has convenient public transport access. Ample parking is available on site, and the space is fully accessible with ramps and adapted facilities throughout.

The space adapts to different seating arrangements, allowing it to accommodate various group sizes depending on how it is configured. This flexibility means one venue can serve both small specialized events and large gatherings.
