Blida is a city located approximately 260 meters (850 feet) above sea level, positioned between the Tell Atlas Mountains and the Mitidja plain near Algiers. The Wadi el-Kebir river flows through the area, supplying water to local fountains and nourishing orchards known for their orange production.
