Chrea Gondola lift

The Chrea Gondola lift is a cable transportation system in Blida Province that spans approximately 7 kilometers through mountainous terrain, linking different elevations with cabins suspended on steel cables. The installation transports people and goods between the lower areas and the higher mountain regions in a continuous, reliable manner.

The gondola opened in 1984 and significantly improved access to the higher mountain areas of the province at that time. Since then, it has remained an important link for people traveling to and from the elevated regions.
