Kumna manor, Manor estate in Keila Parish, Estonia
Kumna is a neoclassical manor house located in Keila Parish. The two-story building features Ionic columns, ornamental stucco reliefs, and spacious rooms decorated with mirrors throughout.
The manor was founded in 1627 under Pastor Johann Knopius and saw several changes of ownership over the centuries. The Meyendorff family acquired it in 1844 and held it for generations.
The name reflects the original settlement that once stood in this area. Visitors can see traces of this heritage displayed in various rooms and throughout the grounds.
The building is currently undergoing restoration work funded through the PRIA Leader programme to preserve its structure. Visitors should check in advance about the current condition and any access limitations.
During World War II, the building functioned as a training facility for intelligence services. It later served as a Soviet military post and administrative center for a collective farm.
