Rakvere Church, Lutheran church building in Rakvere, Estonia
The Trinity Church features a tall spire made of red brick, becoming a central landmark visible throughout the northern Estonian city of Rakvere.
Dating from 1430, the church underwent reconstruction in 1752 after damages during the Great Northern War and received additional renovations during the 1850s.
The sanctuary contains historical artifacts including a medieval font, a pulpit crafted by C. Ackermann in 1690, and an altar designed by Johann Rabe in 1730.
Located at Pikk 19 in central Rakvere, the church welcomes visitors who want to explore its interior, architecture, and clock tower views.
The church holds national open nights where guests learn about Estonian traditions while examining the building's unusually high and slender Neo-Gothic spire.
