Emajõe Business Centre

The Emajõe Business Centre is a modern office tower with 14 floors located near the Emajõgi river in central Tartu. The lower levels contain retail spaces and clinics, while the upper floors house law offices, dental practices, and technology companies.

Construction of this complex began in 1998 under architect Kalle Rõõmus and was completed in phases through 2004. The project marked a significant moment in Tartu's economic development following Estonia's independence.

The building goes by the local name Plasku and has become a hub for professional services in the city. People visit daily for dental and eye care, legal consultations, or shopping on the lower floors.

The building is accessible from the main street entrance, with shopping on the lower floors and professional services on the upper levels. Entry is straightforward and the location is easy to reach on foot from downtown Tartu.

The roof of the building contains an observation point where you can view the city, available by requesting permission at the information desk. This hidden spot is often overlooked by visitors despite offering unexpected views across Tartu.
