Suez Canal Bridge, Bridge in Egypt
The Suez Canal Bridge, also known as the Mubarak Peace Bridge or the Egyptian-Japanese Friendship Bridge, is a high-level road bridge crossing the Suez Canal.
Opened in 2001, the bridge was built with assistance from the Japanese government.
The bridge symbolizes the friendship and cooperation between Egypt and Japan.
The bridge, which is part of the International Coastal Road, links Africa and Asia.
It is one of the few fixed links over the Suez Canal.
