Pyramid of Nyuserre Ini, Pyramid in Egypt
The Pyramid of Nyuserre is a mid 25th-century BC pyramid complex built by the Egyptian pharaoh Nyuserre Ini.
Nyuserre Ini was the sixth king of the Fifth Dynasty during the Old Kingdom of Egypt and reigned for 24–35 years.
The pyramid complex includes a mortuary temple, which was a significant innovation of Nyuserre's reign.
The Pyramid of Nyuserre is located in the Abusir necropolis, south of Cairo.
Nyuserre's sun temple was unique because it was the only one known to have been built north of Abusir.
