Tenerife Espacio de las Artes, Art museum and cultural center in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain.
The Tenerife Espacio de las Artes building features 1,200 glass windows of different sizes, creating patterns across its modern architecture design.
The cultural center, initially conceived in 1995, opened its doors on October 31, 2008, following the architectural vision of Herzog & de Meuron.
The center holds a permanent collection of works by surrealist painter Óscar Domínguez, alongside temporary exhibitions featuring international artists.
The facility spans 20,622 square meters and includes exhibition halls, a municipal library, the Photography Center of Tenerife Island, a shop, and a cafeteria.
A 7-meter high cast iron sculpture named Carla, created by Jaume Plensa in 2023, stands at the entrance of the building.
