Sant Antoni Marketplace, Cast-iron marketplace in Sant Antoni, Barcelona, Spain.
The market building extends across an entire city block with four diagonal wings intersecting at a central octagonal dome made of metal and glass.
Built in 1882 as part of Barcelona's urban expansion, the market structure represents one of the first commercial buildings constructed outside the medieval walls.
The Sunday flea market section attracts collectors and readers with its extensive selection of vintage books, comics, stamps, and trading cards.
The food section operates Monday through Saturday from 8 AM to 8 PM, while clothing stalls remain open daily except Tuesdays and Sundays.
Archaeological excavations beneath the market revealed medieval fortification remains and a Roman-era sewerage system, now visible in the basement area.
