Palau Girona-Fontajau

The Palau Girona-Fontajau is a modern sports facility with a distinctive horseshoe-shaped seating arrangement spread across two levels. The venue accommodates roughly 5,500 spectators and hosts a variety of sporting events and cultural performances.

The building was designed by architects Esteve Bonell i Costa and Josep Maria Gil i Guitart and opened in 1993. Its completion represented a major addition to Girona's modern sports infrastructure.

The venue holds the status of a Cultural Asset of Catalonia and regularly hosts the CB Girona basketball team at home. It serves the city as a central gathering place for sports events and performances.
