Aquapark of Cerceda, Water park in Cerceda, Spain
The Aquapark of Cerceda is a water park featuring multiple pools, slides, and recreational facilities spread across its grounds. The facility combines traditional swimming areas with wave pools, hot tubs, and various water slides designed for different ages and preferences.
The park opened in the year 2000 and remained the only water park in the Galician region for many years afterward. This status made it a destination for recreation seekers from surrounding provinces.
The Fresh Weekend electronic music festival took place at the Aquapark in July 2011, featuring performances by Óscar Mulero and Marco Carola.
The park operates seasonally from early June through early September. Expect crowding on hot weekends, and be prepared for uneven terrain and step changes across the grounds.
The park features a large V-shaped slide called the Roaller Coaster that extends across the entire grounds. This unusual slide is designed specifically for inflatable donuts and offers a distinctive riding experience.
