Edificio Media-TIC

The Edificio Media-TIC is a contemporary office building with a distinctive cubic shape that stands apart from its surroundings. Its four facades are covered with white ETFE polymer cushions that regulate daylight and give the structure its striking appearance.

The building was commissioned in 2007 and completed in 2010 under architect Enrique Ruiz Geli's direction. Its construction marked a shift as the Poblenou district transformed from an industrial area into a hub for technological innovation.

The building hosts Barcelona Activa, a space where the city brings together people interested in technology and creative projects. It functions as a meeting point for those exploring new ideas in digital fields.
