Iglesia de San Andrés, Gothic and Mudéjar church in Seville old town, Spain
The church contains three naves divided by cruciform pillars supporting pointed arches that carry wooden framework for the central and side roofs.
Construction of the Iglesia de San Andrés began in the 14th century, with substantial modifications occurring between 1766 and 1778 under architect Pedro de Silva.
The main altarpiece, created between 1732 and 1739, displays an Inmaculada image by Jerónimo Hernández from 1570 and paintings by Juan de Roelas.
The church opens Monday through Saturday from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at Calle Daoiz 17.
The remains of Juan de Valdés Leal, a prominent 17th-century Spanish painter, are interred within the church walls.
