Museu d'Història de València

The Museum of History of Valencia occupies a nineteenth-century industrial building that previously functioned as the first water tank of the city.

Opened in 2003, the museum presents archaeological findings from Roman times through modern Valencia in chronologically arranged exhibition spaces.

The permanent collection combines archaeological objects with dramatic recreations that illustrate daily life throughout different periods of Valencia's development.

Located near Cabecera Park, the museum welcomes visitors from Tuesday to Saturday between 10:00 and 19:00, and on Sundays from 10:00 until 14:00.

A technological Time Machine installation demonstrates the urban evolution of Valencia through different historical periods with interactive displays.
