The Palacio de Villena is a Renaissance building with classical elements such as stone arches, Ionic columns, and symmetrical facades on the north and south sides. Álvaro de Luna, Duke of Trujillo, ordered construction of the palace in the early 1400s when Castile faced internal unrest and power struggles. Its creation reflects how leading noble families reinforced their position despite political turmoil around them.
