Casa Arróspide, Art Nouveau building in Indautxu, Bilbao, Spain
Casa Arróspide stands at the intersection of Simon Bolivar and Aureliano Valle streets, displaying intricate architectural details and palm trees adorning its exterior.
The structure, completed in 1910 under the direction of architect Leonardo Rucabado, later became the headquarters of the University of Bilbao rectorate.
The Spanish government designated Casa Arróspide as a Cultural Heritage Site in 1989, recognizing its contribution to early 20th-century architectural design.
The building currently houses residential apartments and offices, with a tea house operating on the ground floor of the property.
The structure remains one of the few buildings in the Indautxu district that maintains its original palm trees, a feature once common throughout the neighborhood.
