Mudéjar theme park

The Mudéjar theme park in Olmedo is a leisure area that displays miniature replicas of medieval churches, chapels, and fortifications from the Castilla y León region. The buildings were constructed using traditional brick techniques and allow visitors to view the characteristic architecture of the Mudéjar style up close.

The park was founded in 1999 and presents architectural models of the Mudéjar style, an artistic movement that emerged between the 12th and 16th centuries in Spain. This blend of Islamic and Christian influences shaped the region's building culture over many centuries.

The park displays replicas of churches featuring brick construction that reflects the regional medieval building style. Visitors can examine the craftsmanship in these small-scale buildings and explore the architectural heritage of the region.

The grounds are accessible on several days during the week and provide enough time to explore and photograph the various buildings. Visitors should wear comfortable shoes, as it is necessary to walk through the entire area.

Two miniature train routes operate through the grounds, passing by many of the reconstructed structures and offering visitors a different perspective on the site. The route also travels through areas with over 300 plant species from the region.
