Built during the 12th century, this religious monument received official recognition as a Cultural Asset of National Interest in October 1978.
The church interior contains 16th-century mural paintings decorating the presbytery ceiling and a 15th-century Catalan Gothic altarpiece.
Located at Plaça Sapujo in the upper section of Arties village, the church remains open for religious services and guided visits through reservation.
The building combines two different bell tower styles: a Gothic multi-story tower with a pyramidal roof and a traditional bell gable.
