Casa d'Escaló.

Casa d'Escaló is a three-story residential building in Valencian Art Nouveau style featuring curved balconies, forged iron details, and carved vegetation patterns across its stone facade. The structure displays fine ornamental ironwork and naturalistic motifs characteristic of the period.

The building was constructed between 1906 and 1908 by architect Vicente Juan Pascual Pastor for textile industrialist Enrique García Peidro. It represents the architectural development of Alcoy during the height of its textile manufacturing era.

The interior displays early 1900s craftsmanship through painted walls, ornate cabinetry, decorated capitals, ceramics, and tile flooring that reflect the wealth and taste of its original owner. These details show how upper-class residents expressed their status through fine decorative arts and materials.

The building is located on Joan Cantó Street and now serves as a music and dance conservatory. You can view the facade and architectural details from the street level.

The facade features distinctive metal-framed alcoves that serve as observation points and demonstrate how industrial materials were incorporated into residential design. These projecting bay structures give the building an unusual and memorable appearance.
