Cala Maset

Cala Maset is a small sandy cove on the Catalan coast near Sant Feliu de Guíxols, surrounded by pine trees and Mediterranean plants. The water is a deep blue and drops away quickly from the shore, creating an inviting appearance.

This cove served for centuries as an anchorage for small fishing boats from the area. It remained relatively unchanged as nearby coastal settlements expanded over time.

The name refers to a small sheltered inlet in Catalan language. The cove is known locally as a quiet place where visitors come to escape the crowds found at larger nearby beaches.

You reach the beach by descending a stairway from the coastal road between Sant Feliu and Sant Pol. Parking is available nearby, though spaces can fill up during peak summer days.

The beach stands out for its cleanliness and natural state due to careful environmental practices in the area. This attention to conservation makes it a rare find on this stretch of coast where nature is left largely undisturbed.
