Château de Villiers, Draveil, Neoclassical château in Draveil, France

Château de Villiers is a Neoclassical château in Draveil featuring nine bay windows on both east and west facades. The design includes a triangular pediment decorated with a rose window and two dormer windows that emphasize its classical proportions.

The estate belonged to the Abbey of Saint-Victor in Paris from the mid-12th century onward. It was integrated into the manorial castle of Draveil in 1732 and underwent reconstruction during the 18th century.

The château houses a municipal library and hosts regular exhibitions in its ground floor rooms. These functions make it a center where residents and visitors engage with literature and art.

The site welcomes visitors interested in viewing the exhibitions or accessing the library collections. It is advisable to check opening times for the specific areas you wish to visit.

Two entrance pavilions from the Henri IV period still stand on the grounds, having been modified during the 18th-century reconstruction phase. These older structures reveal how the estate evolved across different periods.
