Collégiale Saint-Sylvain de Levroux

Collégiale Saint-Sylvain is a Gothic church in Levroux featuring a prominent south tower reaching approximately 50 meters high. Its interior is divided into three naves and contains several lateral chapels throughout its structure.

The church was constructed during the 13th century, reflecting the Gothic architectural style of that period. Its historical importance was officially recognized in 1840 when it received protection as a classified monument.

The main entrance displays a carved tympanum showing the Last Judgment scene, while the Romanesque portal features twenty-one sculpted figures. These reliefs tell biblical stories and showcase the artistic skills of their time.
