Golf du Val de l'Indre

Golf du Val de l'Indre is an 18-hole golf course on gently rolling terrain with strategic hazards throughout the layout. The course spans about 60 hectares and offers varied challenges across its fairways and greens.

The course opened in 1989 on the former grounds of Villedieu-sur-Indre Castle. This transformation repurposed a historic site into a modern recreational space for the community.

The grounds feature century-old cedars and oak trees that form a natural setting along the Trégonce River. Walking through the course, visitors experience these trees as part of the landscape rather than simply as features surrounding the fairways.

The grounds are well-marked with clear access to all areas, making navigation straightforward for first-time visitors. Comfortable shoes and casual clothing work well for exploring the rolling landscape at a leisurely pace.

Beyond the main course, a nine-hole foot-golf course and six-hole swing-golf course offer alternatives for beginners and families. These additional options let visitors without golf experience still enjoy the grounds.
