Balsan Park stretches across 4.5 hectares along the Indre River, featuring two historic castles and century-old trees throughout the grounds.
The 18th-century cloth manufacturing facility shaped this estate, originally owned by the D'Aumont family who built Tour Castle on the riverbanks.
The Balsan castles, designed by architect Alfred Dauvergne, showcase a neo-gothic architectural ensemble typical of the 19th century.
The main paths measure 4 meters wide and secondary paths 3 meters, reserved for pedestrians and cyclists with natural light-colored surfaces.
Berry gourmet markets take place in the park during the first three Fridays of July, presenting regional products outdoors.
