Manoir d'Ango, Renaissance manor house in Varengeville-sur-Mer, France.

The manor features brick and flint walls, stone-carved window frames, and a symmetrical layout following Italian Renaissance architectural principles.

Constructed between 1530 and 1544 by Jehan Ango, a wealthy shipbuilder from Dieppe who acquired 12,000 acres of land in Varengeville in 1525.

In 1927, French writers Andre Breton and Louis Aragon spent time at the manor, where Breton worked on his literary work 'Nadja'.

The manor opens daily from May to September, with additional weekend access in April and October, offering guided tours on Thursdays and Saturdays.

The manor includes one of the largest dovecotes in France, containing 1,500 nesting boxes arranged in a sophisticated geometric pattern.
