Église Notre-Dame-de-Nazareth de Pernes-les-Fontaines

The Église Notre-Dame-de-Nazareth is a Romanesque church built with a fortified bell tower and several chapels arranged inside. Two sundials decorate the southern and western walls, creating distinctive features on the building's exterior.

The church functioned as a major priory during the 13th century, playing an important role in the region's religious life. Fire set by the Baron of Adrets in 1562 damaged the building and left marks on its construction.

The church displays sculptures showing biblical stories, including Daniel among lions and Adam and Eve tempted by the serpent. These carved figures tell familiar religious tales that visitors encounter while moving through the interior.
