Église Saint-Pierre de Saint-Julien-du-Sault

The Église Saint-Pierre de Saint-Julien-du-Sault is a Gothic church building with three naves arranged in a cross shape and side passages around the choir. The structure extends about 54 meters in length and displays typical architectural features of this style period.

Construction began in the early 12th century under the Archdiocese of Sens and the building was transformed into a collegiate church in the 11th century. This transformation shaped how the building developed over the following centuries.

The stained glass windows inside show scenes from saints' lives and come from different periods of the Middle Ages. These windows shape the light and mood inside the church even today.
