Maison des Comtes de Foix

The Maison des Comtes de Foix is a Renaissance mansion in Mazères distinguished by its striking architectural features. An octagonal tower crowned with a bell tower and projecting stone turrets shapes its external appearance and provides access to an upper platform.

The mansion was built during the 15th and 16th centuries and served as a residence for French nobility during this period. It gained protected historical monument status in 1955 to preserve its architectural value.
