The Domaine des Oiseaux extends across 100 hectares, including 30 hectares of lakes that support a varied range of native and migratory birds.
Created in 2005, the park initiated a successful white stork reintroduction program, growing from 10 individuals to a population of 50 birds across 35 nests.
The Tool Barn museum displays agricultural equipment in five sections, presenting the traditional farming methods of the Ariège Pyrenees region.
Visitors can access 17 observation points throughout the park to view approximately 235 bird species, with specialized paths suitable for people with disabilities.
The site features live camera feeds from strategic locations, allowing visitors to observe bird behavior through digital screens in the projection room.
