Château de Boissy

Château de Boissy is a stone castle positioned on a hilltop with classical French design and symmetrical wings on both sides. Large windows frame the facade and overlook extensive gardens that surround the property.

Architect Louis Bruyère designed this structure during the second half of the 18th century as a private estate. It later served as a hunting lodge and passed through various owners over the following decades.

The rooms inside reflect how aristocratic families lived and furnished their homes during the late 1700s. Visitors can observe the style and arrangement that was typical of wealthy households from that era.

Access is arranged through organized visits on select dates throughout the year. The grounds and building exterior are visible from the garden areas, even on days without scheduled tours.

A historical column base from a Parisian palace was relocated and reconstructed on the estate grounds. This architectural element connects the site to a larger piece of French history beyond the region.
