Mirandola

Mirandola is a commune in the Province of Modena located in the Po Valley of northern Italy. The town features medieval and Renaissance buildings, including the Pico Castle and several churches that shape its appearance.

The town developed into a Renaissance fortress under Pico family rule from the 13th to 17th century. After their power declined, the Duchy of Modena took control in 1710.
