Forte Azzano

Forte Azzano is a military fort in Verona featuring a central two-story structure. A perimeter gallery with rifle embrasures and two arched portals provide access to the internal courtyard.

The fort was built between 1860 and 1861 by engineers of the Imperial Royal Fortification Office of Verona. It was constructed as part of the city's defensive network during this period.
