Palazzetto is a village fraction on a plateau along the Merse valley in the Tuscan province of Siena. The settlement sits at an elevation of three hundred forty-seven meters and spreads across gentle hills overlooking the wooded valleys below.
Excavations nearby revealed tools made of jasper and ceramic fragments from the Upper Paleolithic era. A Roman burial chamber was discovered in the area at an elevation of three hundred seventy-five meters.
