Villa Paganini

Villa Paganini displays symmetrical architecture with a central portico supported by columns and pilasters, situated within an English-style garden at Strada Gaione 31.

Built between 1820 and 1825, the villa was purchased by violin virtuoso Niccolò Paganini in 1833 for 316,802 lire as a rest residence between concerts.

The red salon contains the space where Paganini performed his Caprices, while the dining room features decorative wall tapestries from the 19th century.

The villa now functions as the headquarters of Istituto San Giovanni Battista, offering spaces for conferences and musical performances throughout the year.

Count Giuseppe Castellinard organized a lottery called Grande Loterie de la belle Villa-Gajone in 1826, selling 90,000 tickets before winning his own property.
