San Giacomo Apostolo, Gothic Revival church in Fossalta, Italy
San Giacomo Apostolo is a church in the Gothic Revival style in Trebaseleghe, featuring pointed-arch windows, pinnacles, and a rectangular layout. The interior is defined by a barrel-vaulted ceiling decorated with frescoes depicting the four evangelists.
The building was constructed between 1925 and 1931 under architect Giovanni Landini. It was consecrated in 1936, marking the completion of a significant local construction project of that era.
The church contains three bells arranged in a diatonic scale, positioned in the 45-meter neoclassical bell tower that dates from medieval times.
The interior space is divided into several areas, including a main altar and two side chapels. This layout allows visitors to explore different parts of the church and understand its various functional zones.
A Mascioni organ from 1933 is installed behind the main altar with two keyboards and ten distinct registers. This instrument exemplifies Italian organ craftsmanship of that period.
