Isesaki, Special city in Gunma Prefecture, Japan
Isesaki spans across 139 square kilometers in the northwestern Kanto Plain, bordered by the Tone River and Saitama Prefecture to the south.
The settlement emerged as a castle town during the Sengoku period, centered around Akaishi Castle under the control of the Yura clan.

Two major rail lines serve the city: JR East Ryomo Line and Tobu Railway Isesaki Line, connecting it to Tokyo and other regional centers.
The temperature in Isesaki reached 40.2 degrees Celsius on June 26, 2022, marking an exceptional meteorological event for the region.
